Protesters go wild in Minna, destroy houses, Gov imposes curfew



Governor Muazu Aliyu of Niger State’s campaign office burnt, Tanko Beji, the state PDP chairman’s office burnt(a sack load of Money in Ghana Must Go found by the crowd, Plasmas and items whisked away) Hajiya Jumai Jafaru, the member Niger State House of Assembly campaign office burnt, Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta’s residence burnt, Mobil Roundabout destroyed.
A police Inspector was killed and burnt to ashes, NNPC Mega filling station burnt,Old State Secretariat burnt, INEC Office burnt, attempt to burn down Governor’s Mum residence failed following the intervention of the police and other security agents who released canisters and shoot sporadically to disperse the protesters.
State government has imposed a 6 to 6 curfew in the state. Now the crowd are targeting the Niger State Government House. Minna is on fire. (Vanguard)
