Group denies involvement in cult war
BENIN CITY- THE Neo Black Movement of Africa has debunked reports that the group was involved in the renewed cult war in Benin City where eight persons have been reportedly killed in different parts of the state.
It was reported that the renewed cult clash between the Black Axe and the Eiye confraternities had led to the death of eight persons.
However, in a statement made available to Vanguard in Benin City, signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the movement, it noted that “the Neo Black Movement of Africa is a non-partisan, non-religious and non- tribal organisation, with its core objectives being to eradicate all forms of oppression, intimidation, corruption, neo colonialism and other vices from the society using legal means.”
“We also dedicate our resources to promote, defend and advance black solidarity (blackism) culture and world peace. The Neo black Movement has been involved over the years in providing free medical care to our rural communities and its affiliate, the Uhuru International Foundation has been awarding scholarship to indigent students.
“We are registered by law. We are not the Black Axe confraternity, neither are we a secret cult. Our registered trustees are made up of prominent law abiding citizens of Nigeria . We cannot be involved in criminal activities or murder for that matter under any guise” it stated.

ReplyDelete"We are not the Black Axe confraternity" - there is a technical term for such claims: BULLSHIT.
