The Lagos State government has shut Mile 12 market.
Sources said the market was shut at about 6 a.m. today by officials of the Ministry of The Environment and a task force led by Bayo Suleiman.
Traders at the market had been warned several times against the filthiness of the market and causing obstruction of Ikorodu Road at Mile 12 axis by selling by theroadside.
“The traders failed to heed the warning that was why the market was shut today,” one of our sources said.
