The Governor of Benue State, Gov Gabriel Suswam, last weekend confirmed that 100 illegal foreigners from Chad, Niger and Ghana have been arrested by the state’s command of the Nigeria Immigration Service.
In the continent, Nigeria is the only country where we equate disorganization and lack of focus to liberalism and "democracy"! No where else are the number, type, movement, and activities of citizens not monitored and controlled.In Nigeria we run a crowd instead of a society. Our neighbours flow in and out the way they choose. From the Chado/Nigerien urchins to the "kwanta-kwanta" armed bandits and now to Boko Haram!.A country where the average citisin does not have a written record of items in his personal house, continuosly guessed national population, and vague figures of its foreign reserves and even oil production. No wonder the smart ones will steal our crude oil, our paid for imported kerosene, even our Naira at the Central Bank, and is not detected.What else do we expect!Benue, well done!Nassarawa, Plateau, Taraba and all our neighbours please take a que and let's ship out these miscreants. there is nothing civilised about habouring obvious dangers.Let's look for and welcome good elements that can enhance our development, not people God has obviously cursed for their wickedness and wicked livings.Enough is enough. It has not been love but foolishness on our part. God bless Nigeria!
