Movie On Corruption Hits Cinemas


90ninthday, a movie that centres around corruption in Nigeria, will hit the cinemas this Friday.
The film, which had five nominations at the last Best of Nollywood Awards and cleared the Homevida Awards which was held in Abuja in December 2011, will finally hit the big screen cinemas across the nation.
According to Paul Apel, “This movie is coming at the right time as we are all concerned with the level of corruption in the land and we are therefore using it to send a message and also make a huge statement in terms of production techniques, Fans who also troop to the cinemas will have an opportunity to see stars Bimbo Akintola and Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey on the big screen.

90Ninth Day is the captivating story of Jack (Paul Apel) who is awarded a power plant contract by the government. This begins a chain of treacherous and tragic events for him and his family. Susan (Bimbo Akintola) who lost out of the bid embarks on a blind revenge.

In the dangerous triangle is one of Jack’s friends Col. Ben (Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey) whose obsession with becoming an army general turns him into a psychopath. For honour, Jack’s family hangs in the balance.
