Nollywood Star Dies

Veteran Nollywood actor, David Ihezie, is dead.

The Enugu-based actor died yesterday night after a battle with illness.
He was said to have been in and out of hospital for sometime before he eventually died.
The Enugu State Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Ofia Mbak confirmed the death of the veteran actor to P.M.NEWS this morning.

According to Mbak, the late Ihezie will be greatly missed for his fatherly and professional contribution to the development of Nollywood and the entertainment industry at large.
National President of AGN, Segun Arinze, described Ihezie’s death as an unfortunate one, “but his legacies will live on. His works can never die. We will miss him greatly.”

Public Relations officer of the guild, Abubakar Yakub, said: “honestly, I’m short of words. I don’t know why this keeps happening to great entertainers.”
Ihezie’s death came few days after famous actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo escaped death by whiskers in an auto crash. (PM News)
