Wife Of PDP Stalwart Missing

Alhaja Fatimoh Abimbola Odofin, wife of a former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chairmanship candidate in Eti Osa Local Government, Lagos State, south-west Nigeria, Alhaji Ibrahim Odofin, popularly known as Eleshin, and his seven-year-old son, Toheeb, have been declared missing.

Alhaja Odofin, nee Fatunwase, and Toheeb were said to have left their Lekki residence in the family’s Toyota FJ cruiser with registration number AP 980 EKY on 22 December 2011 but all efforts to trace them since then have been abortive..

Alhaji Ibrahim, who has ruled out foul play from the opposition in his wife’s disappearance, said he has not offended anyone as to warrant any kind of vendetta, political or otherwise.

Pleading with members of the general public to provide any information that could lead to finding his missing wife and son, he said that Fatimoh has been a good wife and his major support.

“We love each other immensely and I would like to have her back home,” he said.
When asked if he had been contacted for ransom, he said that no one has made any such call.
